Caribbean Cruise! 4/13/08-4/20/08

4/13/08- in the morning, we went to Sawgrass Recreational Park to see alligators. We took an air boat and in the end, we saw like 2 alligators. After that, we went to this little animal room thing (it was outdoors though) and we saw a GIANT alligator and some baby alligators. My sister and I got to hold one of the baby alligator. We also saw some pigs, a baby cougar (it was sooo cute!!!) skunk, and turtles…After that, we had to go to the port to board the ship. We got onto the ship at around like 3 something and I was really excited!! Anyway, I was invited to this teen center place called Remix and so I registered there. At 10:00 PM, I went down there to meet the other ppl (it was for 13-17 yrs old) and we played some games that helped ppl get to know each other. I made my first friend on the cruise ship! We then played Battle of the Sexes (boys vs. girls) and the girls won! Then after that, we had a late night dance/disco thingy! It was pretty fun for the first day and I went to sleep really late! BTW- there were a couple of cute guys. LOL.

4/14/08- Ok, so the next day, we did some exploring on the ship and we watched Michael Clayton, a movie that stars George Clooney. Later, I went to Remix and played Guitar Hero for the 1st time and it was fun even though I sucked at it! After that, I played some tennis Wii and then I went back to my room to do something w/my family that I forgot…Later at night, I went back to Remix and we had this movie trivia thing on the TV. At first, the girls were winning, but then in the end, the boys won. L And OMG-here comes like one of the best parts! We had a Princess Pageant and the boys had to dress up as girls! The girls had to choose a boy to dress up and me and this other girls dressed up this one guy in a dress and flip flops. He refused to take off his pants and it took like 20 minutes for us to finally convince him to take it off, b/c it looked bad w/the dress. In the end, he didn’t win…L LOL, but w/e…it was hilarious! You should have seen it! I wish I had pics and videos of it, but one of my friend does, and I think she’s going to put it on FB sometime!!

4/15/08- Not a lot really happened. Basically, there was this little retarded “party” in the morning that only little kids went to and I was stuck there for a few hours. Later near night time, I watched National Treasure 2 with my family and kinda missed out on the Pizza party that Remix was having, but I soon caught up w/my friends. I can’t remember anything else I did...Oh yeah, we also rode the elevators up and down and pressed every single button. It was long but fun!

4/16/08- We went to st. Maarten today and half of it was dutch and the other half was French. We went to the downtowns of both sides and we tried to see if there were any good shops to look for graduation dresses, but there really weren’t any…Most of the shops were jewelry shops! I was like, “WTF!!! Why do u need so many of them??” and then there were some boring old shops…nothing really good in st. marten. Later, when I was back on the ship, I went to Remix and we were supposed to play Dodgeball and then Cyber Golf, but then my friends decided to go somewhere else. (we always do that) we wandered around the ship, and went to each other’s room to talk. At night, there was a tropical deck party and a lot of ppl were in the Jacuzzi, but my friends and I didn’t go in, cuz I couldn’t b/c of my knee and stuff. And they couldn’t b/c they didn’t have their bikinis w/them. So we just stood by the Jacuzzi and talked to the boys for a while. Then, we returned to the remix center and watched a late night scary movie! It was “1408” and it actually wasn’t that scary, it was just kinda confusing and surprising…Then I went back to my room at like 12 something!

4/17/08- we went to st. Thomas today and it was kinda like St. Maarten, but a little better. We first went on a sky ride/lift all the way up “paradise point” and the view of the ocean and stuff below was really pretty! We took some pictures there and then we saw a bird show later on. It was pretty cool. Then we went back down and walked to a small shopping mall/area. I went to a store called White House Black Market and obviously everything in there was black and white. They had really adorable strapless dresses that would be perfect for graduation!! I tried on a lot of them and they were all so pretty! I should have take pics of myself w/the dresses on, then I could show them to you. Then I went to some other shops, like Bebe, Cache, Coach, to look to see if they had dresses, and they didn’t really…in cache there were a couple of cute dresses that I wanted to try on but I’m like a size 0 and they didn’t have my size, but in 1 dress they did, but even then, it was too big for me!!! I was like, ‘great… now what?” I really wanted to buy one of the dresses from White House Black Market! Back on the ship, I went to Remix and there was ping pong and other stuff that was really boring. And then we had a dating game!! It was hilarious! First, a guy was chosen and he would go behind the counter/big desk and then 3 girls would be chosen to be the bachelorettes. (the girls would be in front of the counter so the guy couldn’t see) the guy would ask the girls a few questions and then choose one girl. They would have to dance to a song for like 30 secs. Then it was vice versa. The girl had to choose 1 out of 3 boys to dance with. It was pretty fun. After that, we had another really late dance!

4/18/08- we were at sea for the whole day b/c we had to go to Princess Cays. I went to Remix in the morning, but practically no one was there, so I went back to my room and did some other stuff. Later, I went back at 2:00 for a music trivia and I helped my team get a lots of points, but in the end, a team of 2 boys won!!! I was like, “WOW. After that, we had ICE CREAM!!! Yay, it was very yummy~ after that, we were supposed to be playing ping pong-, but we ended up playing dodgeball! It was pretty fun. I came back at night, and Rock Band and Guitar Hero was going on. I watched some Rock Band and played a bit of Guitar Hero. My friends and I were sitting outside on the ground and stairs talking and blabbing about random stuff and it was pretty entertaining. After that, we watched Transformers even though I already watched it, but it’s fun to watch movies again, right? Have you watched it yet? If not, you should! It’s really good! After that, I went back to my room and it was REALLY late! (But I always come back late like 12 or later!)

4/19/08- Today, we went to Princess Cays/Keys (ppl pronounce it both ways) and we went to the snorkeling area. But, I didn’t put my head in the water, b/c I didn’t want to…. We took some hot dog buns and used it as food for the fishes. There were these fishes that were really quick that would jump up to get the bread if it was floating on the surface of the water. We would drop the bread crumbs close to our legs so that the fast fishes would brush by and touch our legs when they got the food. It was so cool to feel the fishes! Oh yeah, Madeline and I tried to catch the really tiny fishes with a cup and it obviously didn’t work! But it was worth a shot! We also took a lot of cool pics that I put on Fb!! So go on FB someday and see my album of the Caribbean cruise and comment!!! I got sunburned on my shoulders and the back of my neck and now it hurts whenever I put my backpack on. When we got back onto the ship, I went to remix after taking a shower and we watched August Rush! Have you watched that movie yet? If not, watch it b/c it’s really good and really sad!! It has a good ending though. Again, I’ve already watched that movie, but I like re-watching movies! Later, there was Guitar hero and Rock Band going on again. Then we all went down to the buffet to eat. (Farewell Dinner) we went to play some b-ball afterwards and then we got T-shirts and everyone signed each other’s shirts and exchanged addresses, #s and all that other good stuff. BTW, I forgot to tell you earlier, but I don’t remember when it happened. But, like once, this cute high school guy that was in remix took my picture! I was watching the T.V. and I turned sideways, and saw the camera for a sec and then the light flashed! I wasn’t even paying attention and smiling and he just took my pic! I was like, “WTH??” And then, on another day, the same cute guy TRIED to take my pic, but this time I saw the orange light and quickly turned my head before the flash went off! And the guy was like, “Why can’t the camera go faster?” I was sooo pissed though, why would they want pics of me??? My friends and I quickly got away from him and his groups of friends and they kept on following us no matter where we went! We were all like, “Wth? They’re stalkers, what’s their problem?” for example, we would be in the elevator, and they would appear on some floor and join us. Then they would ask what floor we’re going to and no one would reply. Then, when we were getting off the elevator, they were all like, “Oh, yeah, I forgot, this our floor too, we’re getting off here too.” And they would follow us for no reason. It was really annoying!

4/20/08- The next morning,we had to wake up really early, and we got off the ship at around 8 something. We then went to the airport at like 10 or 11 something and our flight was at like 3 something. So we had to wait for a VERY long time, so I basically finished my Chinese HW. and guess what? Our fricking flight got cancelled! (Remember? American Airlines was canceling a lot of flights.) we were all really pissed and so we rescheduled our flight to another later time. And we had to go from the Ft. Lauderdale Airport to the Miami Airport. And that ride there took about 45 minutes! Then our departure time was 6;10 , and it was like only 2 or 3 something when we got there, so we had to wait for another 3 or 4 hours! So I basically did some of my Hw, listened to music, sat there, staring off into space. Finally, we boarded the plane and we were off to Ft. Worth, Texas. When we got there, there was a sudden gate change, so there was like another extra 10 minutes to get to the gate to get off the plane. And then more trouble came! The gate thingy that connects the plane to the airport so you can get off, wasn’t there! So they had to call the person and wait for them to come! That took about 15 minutes, and by then it was like already 9 or 9:05 PM. And our plane boarded at 8:45!!!! We were already like 15 minutes late! Then we had to run to get the sky ride transportation thing to get from gate A all the way to Gate D!! When we boarded the plane, we had like 4 minutes left to spare!!! I was like, “Omg” cuz I was soo scared that we were going to miss our flight! So yeah...this day wasn’t really a good day for us.

AND THAT'S THE END OF MY VACATION!!!

i really hate morningssss!!

u kno wat? i really hate mornings, especially if i have to wake up before 7!!! which i had to do today, b/c my parents had to leave super early, and so they had to send me to school early...>< so annoying and i went to sleep at 12!!! and had to wake up at 6:40!!! i barely got any sleep!!!

oh no-i think i lost my precious notebook. it's precious cause it contains a lot of important info!!! and i hope i didn't leave it in one of my classes at school...cuz i can't find it anywhere at home!!! gahhhhh, i really need to find it!!! :( wish me luck!!! :)

hmmm...for once today, something interested happened at school today! what is it?

well, 1st-stephanie came to school today wearing a beanie and a long blond wig...i dunno why she did that... no one knows why...and she also wore these like 6 inches tall stiletto high heels black boot thingys...WITH a really black looking dress...(it looked kinda like a prostitution dress...we were briefly talking about prostitution in history class today...b/c it had to do with some Mexican and American history war and stuff like that...) and ya, everyone was staring at her and talking about her....

2nd-today was the pano pic!!! it was pretty cool and boring at the same time...it was really really hot!!! and i had my jacket on!! but w/e...i bet the pic looks pretty cool, can't wait to see it!

jazz band concert

soo-there was a jazz band concert tonite at egan...we had to come at 5:15 and i barely got any HW done!! (BTW-it was 6th grade jazz band, egan jazz band, and blach jazz band.) anyway-we rehearsed and then we had to go outside b/c mr. lewis had to go practice with the 6th graders. outside was hella freezing, and around 7:05/7:10, the concert started, and we weren't even inside!! but the 6th graders went first, so it wasn't that bad...it was just that we had to stay outside even tho it was freezing cold!! all our fingers and hands were turning purple. >.< then it was our turn and we went inside...and we slowly started to get warm...after we played, mr. lewis said that it would be good if we stayed to listen to blach, to give them support and stuff. and we were just like, "hell no, we have HW to do." so ha ha-blach probably got a small audience to play for...

ok, this is random...but w/e.

u kno how there's like 1 or 2 formal nights on cruises?? right?? (for ppl who have been on cruises before...) so, i dont have a dress...well i do, but they're all like too small and ugly for me, so i suggested to my mom that we should go shopping for my grad. dress and i could use it for the formal night on the cruise. and she was all like, 'do u have time? wen?" blah blah blah, etc.

and i was like, 'grrrrrrrr, but then i have nothing to wear!" then my mom just ignored me and dropped the subject...>.<><>

another bad thing-i won't be able to go swimming on the cruise!! cuz i have my stupid injuries that just HAD to happen right b4 vacation!! gawd, i have so much good luck, rite? >.< *sigh* and i was looking forward to swimming during vacation...gawdddddd

spring vacay!!

yayyyy-i'm sooo excited for spring break!!! guess where i'm going!!

the CARIBBEANS!!! on a cruise!! for a whole week!!!! you know ur jealous!! lol, jk jk.
but ya-i'm sooo excited (ha ha, i already mentioned that...oh well, w/e.) it's gonna be so much fun!!! but the bad thing is-is that i can't go swimming!! cuz i fell down and stuff!! stupid wounds that take sooo long to heal!!! gahhhhhhh, this would have been a perfect vacation...

disneyland ppl

Sooo, the Disneyland ppl are back today...wonder how their trip was. I am so jealous of them, my parent's wouldn't let me go b/c they said I already went there too many times. Which is true, but still...you can never get bored of Disneyland! Especially the really good rides, like California Screaming, Matterhorn, Space Mountain, etc. I have to go to sleep soon, so this one will be short (like always) I'll try to update this every single day, that is, if I can remember to...We're reading Fahrenheit 451 in English currently, and it's so fricking confusing and boring! I don't even get half the stuff I read! G2G now. Buh-bye! <3
